Beneath the Olive Arch(art print)
Japandi line and gouache wash
Upward Salute · Urdhva Hastasana
Canvas, paper and care
The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.
Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting
About Beneath the Olive Arch
An older man with a short white beard stands in Upward Salute (Urdhva Hastasana) beneath a tall rounded arch. Soft, even light falls across his raised arms and upright body, leaving open space around his figure.
Pale olive, warm linen, and mushroom gray create a quiet, grounded mood. The charcoal brush line gives the figure a clear shape, while soft color washes and subtle paper texture keep the painting gentle. It suits a meditation corner, a bedroom wall, or a calm reading space.
