Garden of Still Light(art print)

Botanical gouache
Headstand · Sirsasana

Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting

About Garden of Still Light

A Black woman with natural curly hair holds Headstand (Sirsasana) among olive branches and wild grasses. Soft morning light filters through layered garden leaves and falls across her steady, upside-down form.

Deep green and sage leaves create a cool, restful setting, while blush pink and cream add warmth. Crisp leaf shapes and soft gouache shading give the scene gentle movement. This painting suits a meditation corner, a bedroom wall, or a quiet reading space.
