Gold in Still Air(art print)
Sumi-e ink and gold leaf
Warrior I · Virabhadrasana I
Canvas, paper and care
The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.
Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting
About Gold in Still Air
An older man with a short white beard holds Warrior I (Virabhadrasana I) beside a few ink bamboo stalks. His front knee bends deeply, his back heel rests on the ground, and both arms reach toward the quiet light above.
Black ink, soft indigo washes, and warm rice paper create a spare, balanced scene. Loose brushstrokes give the figure a sense of strength, while small gold leaf accents catch the eye. This painting suits a meditation room, a reading nook, or a quiet wall in a bedroom.
