Meadow of Quiet Light(art print)

Loose watercolor
Headstand · Sirsasana

Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting

About Meadow of Quiet Light

An older woman with short silver hair holds Headstand (Sirsasana) in a meadow of wildflowers. Soft morning haze surrounds her as she balances on her forearms and the crown of her head, with her legs straight up together.

Pale ocean blue, soft peach, and lavender gray drift across the paper in loose, layered washes. Granulating pigments and open white spaces give the meadow a gentle, airy feel. This painting suits a quiet bedroom wall, a meditation corner, or a reading space with soft natural light.
