Tree Pose at Sundown(art print)
Palette knife acrylic, impasto
Tree Pose · Vrksasana
Canvas, paper and care
The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.
Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting
About Tree Pose at Sundown
She stands on one leg on a rocky headland, palms joined high above her head, while a large low sun drops into the sea behind her. Every surface is built from thick palette-knife ridges, so the light catches the texture even in a print.
The colors run warm: terracotta, burnt orange, ochre and a cool line of sage hills. It holds its own on a large wall, and the 24 x 36 size keeps the whole figure, raised hands included.
