Where Silence Rests(art print)
Japandi line and gouache wash
Easy Seated Meditation · Sukhasana
Canvas, paper and care
The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.
Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting
About Where Silence Rests
A Black woman with natural curly hair sits in Easy Seated Meditation (Sukhasana), with her legs crossed, hands resting in her lap, and eyes closed. Soft, even light falls across her figure within a pale rectangular wash, leaving open space around her.
Dusty blue, pale stone, and ivory create a gentle contrast with the fine graphite line. Loose brush marks and soft color washes give the painting a quiet rhythm. It suits a meditation room, a bedroom, or a reading corner with light wood and neutral fabrics.
