Where the Sun Rests(art print)

Boho abstract gouache
Seated Prayer · Anjali Mudra

Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting

About Where the Sun Rests

A curvy woman with shoulder-length auburn hair sits cross-legged in Seated Prayer (Anjali Mudra), with her palms pressed together at her heart and her eyes closed. Beside her, a rising sun of three concentric half circles glows against a field of rounded hills, arches, and leaves.

Ochre, teal, clay, and off-white form a warm balance of earthy tones, while fine dry-brush grain adds texture to the smooth shapes. This mid-century boho gouache style suits a meditation corner, a quiet bedroom, or a living room wall with natural wood and soft linen.
