Beneath the Silver Horizon(art print)

Night-sky acrylic
Upward Salute · Urdhva Hastasana

Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting

About Beneath the Silver Horizon

A bearded man with tied-back hair stands on a hilltop in Upward Salute (Urdhva Hastasana), with his feet together and both arms reaching overhead. A crescent moon lights his silhouette beneath a wide sky filled with stars and soft clouds.

Deep navy, aurora green, violet, and silver create a rich night sky, while fine stars and subtle gold highlights add depth. Soft painterly layers give the scene a quiet sense of space. It suits a meditation room, bedroom, or a calm wall in a reading corner.
