Where the Forest Glows(art print)

Loose watercolor
Seated Twist · Ardha Matsyendrasana

Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting

About Where the Forest Glows

An East Asian woman with a sleek low ponytail holds Seated Twist (Ardha Matsyendrasana) in a quiet forest clearing. Soft light falls through the tall trees and touches the ground around her.

Misty teal and slate blue create the cool shade of the forest, while rose gold and white catch the filtered light. Loose watercolor blooms and fine pigment textures give the scene a soft, open feel. It suits a meditation room, bedroom or quiet reading corner.
