Under the Rose Sun(art print)

Boho abstract gouache
Headstand · Sirsasana

Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting

About Under the Rose Sun

A man with dark curly hair holds Headstand (Sirsasana), balanced on his forearms and the crown of his head, with his legs reaching straight up together. He rests among layered arches, rounded hills and a rising half sun in warm, soft light.

Burnt orange, dusty rose, mauve and ivory create a warm balance across the scene. Soft curves and fine dry-brush grain give the gouache a gentle, textured feel. This painting suits a quiet bedroom, meditation corner or living room wall in need of warm color.
