Beneath the Firefly Sky(art print)

Luminous acrylic and glaze
Upward Salute · Urdhva Hastasana

Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting

About Beneath the Firefly Sky

A serene figure stands in Upward Salute (Urdhva Hastasana) beneath a quiet forest canopy at night. Both arms reach overhead as fireflies drift through the darkness and seven points of light glow along the spine.

Deep indigo and midnight blue create a still night setting, while the seven chakra colors add a gentle path of light through the figure. Soft acrylic glazes and fine brushwork give the glow a smooth, layered feel. This painting suits a meditation room, bedroom, or quiet wall near a reading chair.
