Gold in Quiet Silence(art print)

Sumi-e ink and gold leaf
Seated Prayer · Anjali Mudra

Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting

About Gold in Quiet Silence

A woman with dark hair in a loose bun sits cross-legged in Seated Prayer (Anjali Mudra), her palms pressed together at her heart and her eyes closed. She rests before a single ensō circle, with soft light falling across warm cream rice paper.

Black ink and gray washes define her form with a few fluid strokes, while small touches of gold leaf catch the light. The open space and quiet palette suit a meditation room, a bedroom, or a reading corner with a pale neutral wall.
