Light Through the Canopy(art print)

Botanical gouache
Seated Twist · Ardha Matsyendrasana

Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting

About Light Through the Canopy

A red-haired woman with a high ponytail sits in Seated Twist (Ardha Matsyendrasana), one knee raised as she gently turns her torso. Monstera, banana and palm leaves frame her freckled shoulders, while soft dappled light falls across the garden.

Jungle green leaves create layers of depth, while coral, cream and touches of gold bring warmth to the scene. Crisp gouache shapes and soft shading give the painting a fresh, restful feel. It suits a meditation corner, a quiet bedroom or a living room wall with natural wood and warm neutral tones.
