Within the Sage Arch(art print)

Japandi line and gouache wash
Easy Seated Meditation · Sukhasana

Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting

About Within the Sage Arch

A Black woman with natural curly hair sits in Easy Seated Meditation (Sukhasana) within a tall rounded arch. Her eyes are closed, her hands rest in her lap, and her shoulders soften in the quiet light.

Muted sage green and warm beige create a gentle contrast against the off-white ground. A continuous charcoal brush line gives the figure a sense of ease, while soft color washes and open space keep the composition light. It suits a bedroom, reading corner, or quiet meditation wall.
