Beneath the Violet Moon(art print)

Night-sky acrylic
Tree Pose · Vrksasana

Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

About the painting

About Beneath the Violet Moon

A woman with dark hair in a loose bun stands in Tree Pose (Vrksasana) on a hilltop beneath a crescent moon. She balances on one leg with her palms joined high above her head as stars fill the night sky.

Midnight purple and magenta clouds spread behind her, while gold and white highlights catch the moonlight. Fine speckled stars and layered brushstrokes give the sky depth and a soft, dreamy feel. This painting suits a meditation corner, bedroom, or quiet living room wall.
