Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

Shipping and returns

Shipping is included to the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union; Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Switzerland pay a small difference shown in the cart.

Every painting is printed for you, so we cannot take back a change of mind, but anything damaged, misprinted or lost is replaced or refunded. Returns and damage

About the painting

About Beneath the Northern Glow

An East Asian woman with a sleek low ponytail holds Seated Twist (Ardha Matsyendrasana) beneath a wide night sky filled with stars and northern lights. A glowing moon lights her calm silhouette as one arm hugs her raised knee and the other hand rests behind her.

Midnight purple and magenta clouds sweep across the sky, while fine white stars and gold highlights add points of light. Soft brushwork and deep layers of color create a quiet mood that suits a bedroom, meditation corner, or reading room with a dark or neutral wall.
