Canvas, paper and care

The canvas is a poly-cotton blend, hand-stretched over a 1.25 in pine frame with hanging hardware attached. The painting continues around the edges (a mirrored wrap), so the whole image stays on the front.

Framed prints use 189 gsm museum-grade matte paper behind a clear acrylic front, in a solid wood frame 0.75 in deep. Keep both out of direct sun and wipe with a dry cloth.

Shipping is included to the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union; Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Switzerland pay a small difference shown in the cart.

About Where the Water Rests

A woman with a closely shaved head and small gold earrings holds Standing Forward Fold (Uttanasana) on a wooden jetty above a still lake. At sunrise, soft light spreads across the water as she reaches toward the boards with her legs straight.

Seafoam, sky blue, sand and pearl white blend through loose watercolor washes, with soft blooms and gentle reflections. The open brushwork gives the scene a quiet, spacious feel. It suits a bedroom, meditation corner or a bright living room wall.
